Creatine Use In Bodybuilding

Creatine monohydrate is a great supplement to use for bodybuilding. It truly is the only supplement that is actually proven to increase muscle mass indirectly. Creapure creatine is the only creatine not made in China, therefore, its the only creatine monohydrate I recommend. There are several ways to make creatine work better. Here are some ways.

1) Use creatine monohydrate post workout with carbs. We know that combining creatine with carbs will help creatine build muscle better and more effectively. You can use simple carbs like dextrose or maltodextrin. About a decade ago a product called Celltech created a product that was 10 grams of creatine and 70 grams of dextrose. However, this was a huge amount of dextrose to use and people would have problems with it. Therefore I like to combine creatine with natural carbs like veggies and fruits. I really don't like carbs that are man-made like the corn powders and the juices. Some people use Gatorade and grape juice which I don't like.

2) Combine creatine with R-ALA. Studies have shown that by using creatine with R-ALA will help creatine work better. I recommend a product called Geronova.

3) Combine creatine with Testofen. Testofen is brand name of fenugreek. Research has shown that Testofen will help creatine work better.

There are also things you can do to help creatine work better. Try to avoid caffeine. Caffeine has been shown to negate the effects of creatine. Many pre-workouts contain caffeine and creatine monohydrate which is not very smart. Instead, you should try to avoid caffeine when taking creatine.

You can choose to load creatine monohydrate if you want to. You want to take a dosage of 5 grams about 3 to 4 times a day. Five grams is one level teaspoon. Finally, avoid creatine gimmicks. Things like effervescent creatine and liquid creatine and creatine in protein bars.
